Healing Crisis ( Herxheimer Reaction):
As part of the healing process the body will begin to discard toxic residues (mucus production), which have build up in the body over the years. You may experience headache, uneasiness, fatigue or *like flu like symptoms or *sleepiness *lack of appetite *fever *cold *body aches and pains in joins and muscles *swelling in various lymph glands of the body
* you may feel worse before you feel better!
Symptoms are short in duration and move from one part of the body to another, from inside out and from top to bottom.
What to do?
'it is important that you adequately rest during this time
'drink at least three cups of water or combination of fruit/vegetable juice
'increase intake of fruits, veg. and bran from cereals to help accelerate the removal of toxins of any type
'walking for 15min
Energy lines is Circulation
Energy lines can be compared in a poetic sense to the flow of water in a river. If there is a dam or blockage in a river then it won't flow properly and this will result in a swelling.
' If we correct the flow of circulation in the body by removing a blockage as discomforts or swellings, muscle sorenesses we restore nerval, lymphatic functions as well as skeletal realignments.
In fact, the deeper goal of massage is to get a person back in touch with this real sense of self with confidence.
